Start up Excel
Select TAB datastream
Press either Static search or Time series
Press button Find series
Use the text based search in navigator
You can preselect the link Choose a single categorie > equities
or you can type in e.g.: Ahold
Press Blue Search Button
The most important equities will be presented at top of the list (most stars on the left side of company name)
Click on the company name
Below the results list you'll notice some additional information, among them a chart
